Physiotherapy is a multi-faceted profession whose aim is to encourage and support the return to normal following illness, surgery, disease or trauma. So whether your problem is a sprained ankle, back pain, injury at work or many other different conditions, a physiotherapist can help to get you better. (Physio First)
Physiotherapists help people recover from pain and movement restriction through exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage their symptoms and prevent disease. (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy)

Prehab
A term used to describe prevention of injury rather than treatment of a current injury (rehabilitation). Whether you fancy taking up running or are training for a sporting event, we can assess your biomechanics and prescribe you with a programme of stretches and strengthening exercises. This will specifically target problem areas to prevent injury and facilitate your training programme. Remember, your body is very complex and will adapt and alter how you move to cope with increased demands, but this may not always be helpful long-term and may lead to injury. We can also speed up your recovery after a training session with massage and stretching, to enhance muscle recovery and reduce DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). Getting you ready to exercise again and achieve your training goals.
